Annarosa is an online pioneer and business strategist with a bent toward execution, driving engagements and with passion and enthusiasm.
Annarosa brings deep global experience to Firebrick, and excels in numerous mission-critical business disciplines, including strategy, finance, marketing, product management, sales enablement, market and customer research, as well as venture funding and acquisitions. She is a catalyst for organizational change from strategy through implementation.
Her early career began on the original Apple Macintosh team, working with Steve Jobs. Later, Annarosa served as an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company, working on strategy-related issues for various high-tech clients. During the first dot-com era, she successfully launched the online business for Gap, Inc., spanning all three portfolio brands – GapKids, babyGap and Gap, growing revenues 30X in eight months and leading a team of 160. Subsequently, she served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Global Marketing at Flextronics, the world’s second largest supply chain company. Annarosa has also worked as a marketing and strategic advisor to Interval Research and Garage Technology Ventures. As a principal and co-founder of Brandpoint Strategy, she worked with companies such as Intuit, Microsoft, Gap, Sun, Nortel, Schwab, CalWater, and NetIQ. She has also served as a principal for management consulting firm R.B. Webber & Company.
Annarosa has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Berkeley’s, Haas School of Business and holds two United States patents. She is a passionate community volunteer and advocate for at-risk youth, and is a board member of the Sequoia High School Education Foundation. She lives on the San Francisco Peninsula with her husband, son and two adorable dogs, but can be frequently spotted in sunny Los Angeles where she spends time with her college-aged daughter.Next Bio »
