John serves B2B clients on time-to-scale and growth strategies, with a particular emphasis on understanding buyers, market segments and revenue levers.
He brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic, research-based consulting to Firebrick. John’s experience includes the pre-IPO go-to-market strategy for Marketo, as well as strategy engagements with Silicon Valley leaders including HP, Dell, Box, SanDisk, NetApp, PayPal, InsideView, Microsoft, Cisco and Adobe.
Prior to joining Firebrick, John managed the Technology and Financial Services Research Team for Accenture’s Strategy Consulting Practice, working with leading edge companies from every corner of the globe. John's other roles include the Director of Marketing Strategy, Research and Competitive Intelligence for an employee portal provider, as well as serving as an analyst for venture capital and investment banking firms.
John earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in Business from San Diego State University. A Colorado native, he and his wife live in Alamo with their two sons, and enjoy skiing, football and swim meets.Next Bio »
